Together, we offer more than 30 years of experience in the testing of rail vehicles, in the areas of operational stability and vehicle dynamics, and in the organization and performance of stationary tests and on-track tests. Engenium's testing laboratory has been accredited according to EN ISO/IEC 17025 since 15.12.2022. This confirms our competence in rail vehicle testing.

    Scope of services

    • Support in the planning and specification of the necessary tests and in the selection of test methods
    • Construction of special sensor technology such as conversion of control arms or wheel sets to force transducers
    • Installation of the necessary measurement technology in our laboratory and on site
    • Organization of track and traction via external railroad undertakings (RU) in Austria
    • Coordination of the test procedures worldwide in cooperation with the responsible parties (RU, operator, etc.)
    • Monitoring of the measurements and evaluation of the data on site
    • Preparation of the measurement data for further use and conversion into all common formats (MATLAB, imc Famos, etc.)
    • Evaluation and analysis of test results according to test procedures
