Solution:

As an accredited testing laboratory according to EN ISO/IEC 17025, we supported our customer throughout the entire standard-compliant data collection for a FLIRT train to be delivered to Swiss Federal Railways (SBB), Thurbo and RegionAlps.

Quality assurance took place directly on the track: using our ACQUA^® measurement software, all signals were continuously checked for plausibility in real time during the test runs. This allowed us to immediately identify measurement errors, correct them on-site, and provide the customer with fully validated datasets - including complete test protocols - upon completion of the runs.

The measurement was conducted in accordance with international standards as well as our customer’s specific requirements:

• EN 12299 – Ride comfort for passengers – Measurement and evaluation

Result:

Through our structured project execution, we were able to obtain reliable and conclusive measurement data from real-world operations that fully verify ride comfort.
