Mullins Effect

By combining a 5-parameter hyperelastic material model (third-order-deformation model) with the Ogden-Roxburgh damage approach, the stress softening in elastomeric materials (Mullins effect) can be predicted very accurately by means of numerical simulation. The data basis for the implementation of this material model is provided by uni- and equibiaxial sample tests with different conditioning states.
