After more than two years of development, the Engenium measurement software ACQUA passed the practical test in the context of an operational measurement of a tramway with flying colors. The software enables the distributed measurement of several hundred channels and sampling frequencies of more than 50 kHz per channel using modular measurement equipment from NI. The time synchronism of the measurement data is in the sub-micro-second range at sampling rates up to the MHz range. We were able to realize the 'last mile' thanks to the support of the FFG - many thanks at this point for the uncomplicated implementation of the research project. We are looking forward to further exciting projects and challenging measurement campaigns.
