We carry out a completely autonomous operational measurement for our customer over a period of at least three months. The aim is to record the relevant stress data of a motor bogie for a fatigue strength assessment in accordance with EN 13749.

For this purpose, over 30 strain gauges, various displacement and acceleration sensors were applied and a total of four rods were converted into force transducers. The measurement runs completely autonomously on the basis of trigger settings with our ACQUA^® measurement software. We use remote monitoring to check the correct functioning of all sensors several times a day and guarantee a very short response time to any faults. Autonomous measurement requires significantly fewer personnel resources, which helps our customers to save money.
