Approach:
As an accredited testing laboratory in accordance with EN ISO/IEC 17025, we support our customers in collecting data in compliance with international standards. The vehicle was equipped in close collaboration with Stadler Rail’s testing laboratory, which is also accredited.
Using our ACQUA® measurement software, we carried out continuous plausibility checks on all signals during the test runs to ensure data quality during the process. This includes the identification and correction of measurement errors, as well as the provision of the data sets, including the associated measurement reports.
Measurements are carried out in accordance with international standards and our client’s specific requirements:
EN 13749 – Determination of strength requirements for bogie frames
EN 15827 – System Engineering for bogies and running gear
Result:
Our structured approach enabled us to provide robust and reliable measurement data from real-world operations to demonstrate operational stability.
For our customers, this means:
- Metrological traceability: Guaranteed accuracy of measurement values through strictly monitored test equipment and calibrated measurement chains.
- Full data sovereignty: Providing raw and measurement data without pre-interpretation for detailed internal analysis.
- High transparency: Traceable, standards-compliant data collection as the basis for approval.
- Independence & neutrality: As an external testing body, we provide objective facts as a neutral basis for internal design decisions.
This is how we create an objective and reliable database.
